Dr. Scott
Brahmer, DC
and Advocate for Patient-Centered Care
Dr. Scott Brahmer, DC
Dr. Scott is the founder of Body In Balance Chiropractic and Massage, where he has spent over 18 years helping individuals and families move better, feel better, and live healthier lives. Throughout his career, he has been known for a patient-centered approach to care, taking the time to understand each person’s unique goals and creating thoughtful, individualized treatment strategies.
His approach to chiropractic care has emphasized a balance between structural alignment, soft tissue work, and long-term lifestyle habits. Dr. Scott has worked with a wide range of patients—from families seeking wellness care to athletes looking to perform at a higher level—and has always prioritized education so patients can take an active role in their health.
With a background in full-contact sports such as ice hockey and rugby, Dr. Scott developed an early appreciation for how the body adapts to stress, movement, and recovery. This perspective has shaped the philosophy behind Body In Balance and continues to influence the way care is delivered within the clinic.
Today, Dr. Scott remains involved in the long-term vision of Body In Balance, supporting the team’s continued commitment to patient-centered care. His vision continues to shape the clinic’s commitment to thoughtful care, clear communication, and helping patients get well, stay well, and live well.

Dr. Dustin
Hundley, DC
and Advocate for Active Living
Dr. Dustin Hundley, DC
Dr. Dustin joined Body In Balance Chiropractic and Massage in 2018. He grew up in Forest Grove, Oregon, where his lifelong love of movement and wellness took root through year-round athletics. His early interest in anatomy and physiology, combined with a deep desire to help others, led him to pursue a career in the medical field. He earned his B.S. in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon, where, during his senior year, he discovered his calling in chiropractic care.
Drawn to its non-invasive, patient-centered approach—and informed by his own positive experiences as a chiropractic patient—Dr. Dustin continued his education at the University of Western States. There, he earned both his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Master’s in Exercise and Sports Science.
Since graduating in 2015, Dr. Dustin has provided care to patients in Forest Grove, Clackamas, and Happy Valley. He brings a thoughtful, movement-based approach to every visit, combining clinical expertise with a genuine passion for helping patients feel and function their best. Now part of the Body in Balance team, he’s proud to serve the Vancouver community.
When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Dr. Dustin exploring the outdoors—hunting, fishing, hiking, or swimming with his black lab, Cooper, by his side.

Dr. Tyler
Winters, DC
and Advocate for Whole-Body Health
Dr. Tyler Winters, DC
Dr. Tyler joined Body In Balance Chiropractic and Massage in 2021. Originally from Texas, Dr. Tyler earned his chiropractic degree from Parker University, one of the nation’s leading institutions for chiropractic education. He began his career in the vibrant city of Chicago before returning to the Pacific Northwest—and to Vancouver, Washington—to serve the community he now calls home.
For Dr. Tyler, chiropractic care is about far more than just relieving pain. He believes in supporting the body’s ability to heal by improving spinal mobility and optimizing nerve function. His approach often leads to positive changes beyond pain relief, including better digestion, improved mood, and greater ease in daily activities. He is trained in a wide variety of adjusting techniques, including gentle, tool-assisted methods such as Activator and ArthroStim, allowing him to tailor care to each patient’s unique needs.
Outside the office, Dr. Tyler recharges by spending time in nature. Whether playing disc golf at Skamania Lodge, hiking the Columbia River Gorge, or enjoying long walks with his dog, Buster, he values the balance and calm that time outdoors brings.

Dr. Leah
Foster, DC
and Champion of Personalized Wellness
Dr. Leah Foster, DC
Dr. Leah joined Body In Balance Chiropractic and Massage in 2024. Originally from Ontario, Canada, Dr. Leah discovered her passion for chiropractic care while working as a Chiropractic Assistant during her undergraduate studies at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay. That early exposure sparked a deep appreciation for the body’s ability to heal with the right support and guidance.
She went on to attend the University of Western States, where she earned a B.S. in Human Biology, an M.S. in Sports Medicine, and her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Leah brings a strong foundation in movement science and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. Her treatment approach is rooted in seeing the whole person—not just the symptoms—and helping each patient move toward their version of optimal health. She utilizes a range of adjustment techniques, including gentle, tool-assisted methods like the Activator, to tailor care to individual needs.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Leah embraces the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Whether she’s running, hiking, swimming, or exploring with her husband and their two dogs, Cannon and Hazel, she finds joy in staying active and connecting with nature.

Dr. Calen
Matsuda, DC
and Advocate for Balanced Living
Dr. Calen Matsuda, DC
Born and raised on the island of Maui, Dr. Calen Matsuda traded palm trees for pine trees when he moved to the Pacific Northwest after high school. He earned his degree in Kinesiology at Oregon State University and went on to graduate from the University of Western States with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Calen believes healthcare should be about more than quick fixes — his passion is helping patients achieve their goals naturally, without relying on pills, injections, or surgery. Whether it’s a traditional adjustment, instrument-assisted technique, or movement-based rehab, his approach is simple: meet people where they’re at, make the process enjoyable, and get them back to doing what they love.
In the office, you’ll quickly learn that Dr. Calen doesn’t just treat spines — he treats people. Patients often say his upbeat energy and easygoing personality make every visit feel less like an appointment and more like catching up with a friend (who just happens to help your back feel better).
When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll probably find him on the golf course, snowboarding down Mt. Hood, or playing pickleball with friends. A true sports fan and movie buff, Dr. Calen is always up for trading game-day predictions or film recommendations. And as a proud foodie, he’s just as likely to recommend a great stretch as he is a great restaurant.
